Master Bathroom Spa Renovation in Bellevue

Before & After

The Challenge
A 2004-era Bellevue home in the Somerset neighborhood had a master bathroom that reflected its era: builder-grade fiberglass shower surround, standard 5-foot tub/shower combo, standard-height vanity with laminate countertop, and inefficient layout that wasted the room's generous 120-square-foot footprint. The homeowners wanted a spa-quality retreat that matched the home's $1.6M market value.
Our Solution
The existing shower and tub were demolished and replaced with a generous steam shower (60" × 42") with Porcelanosa large-format tile, a Thermasol steam generator, and frameless 3/8" glass enclosure. A freestanding Bain Ultra soaking tub was positioned at the window wall to take advantage of the mountain views. Schluter Ditra-Heat electric radiant was installed under the entire floor with 24"×24" Porcelanosa Marmol Ivory tile. A custom floating double vanity with Calacatta quartz and Kohler Composed faucets completed the space. City of Bellevue permits were managed by Repair Point.
